Wild West Strategies is a public affairs and government relations company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The founder and principal - Martin Fitzgerald - has nearly two decades of experience working for state and federal officials, advocacy organizations, and business groups.
In his role with Wild West Strategies, Mr. Fitzgerald has worked for the Nevada Resort Association, Howard Hughes Corporation, the Impact Project, and National Popular Vote, among others. He has worked on some of the most complex policy areas in Nevada, including: expanding and protecting access to democracy; economic development and revenue reform; and, healthcare reform.
In addition to his public affairs and government relations work in Nevada, Mr. Fitzgerald has served as a senior advisor to Pete Buttigieg’s 2020 Presidential Campaign, as Chief of Staff to Assembly Speaker Jason Frierson, and as senior advisor to U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto. He has also served as Executive Director of the progressive advocacy group New Day Nevada, Nevada State Director for Jason Kander’s Let America Vote, and as Research Director for the Nevada State Democratic Party.
Martin Fitzgerald has a B.A. from The George Washington University, were he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and has a Master of Public Policy in Public Sector Financial Management from the University of Maryland.
